HERRENBERG is a very small vineyard on a lime reef over Ungstein. It´s a Grand Cru vineyard which is very famous for its cold alignment. Over centuries the parcel is protected by sandstone walls and dense bushes. Hand-picked very ripe and healthy grapes, maceration time of five hours. Afterward gentle pressing with low pressure, controlled fermentation in old 600 liter wooden barrels from Palatinate oak.
